Always there are concerts of renown in New York, and there are plenty of places to accommodate them. The concerts are held in venues such as Madison Square Garden, Lincoln Center and Radio City Music Hall. Each year these rooms, as well as many others, a show in different concerts. Less formal concerts can also be found everywhere. On a good day, take a stroll through Central Park and Washington Square Park, and you are bound to find someone singing or playing an instrument. You can even find music when you’re on the subway. Musicians always settle in the underground stations. Sometimes these small concerts are the best.

With all the great schools and endless opportunities, music students must want to be any other part.
For a more informal music education, spend a day at one of the many museums of the Big Apple with musical screens. There is the Museum of Television and Radio and the Dia Center for the Arts to name a few.
A completely different form of celebrate music in New York is to visit the John Lennon Memorial in Central Park. This monument, known as Strawberry Fields, is 2.5 acres of gardens in memory of John Lennon. The monument is a mosaic with the word “Imagine” in the Center and a peace sign made of flowers. It is located at Central Park West at West 72nd Street just in front of where John Lennon lived and was assassinated.
